Pet care experience
Im currently a pre-veterinary medicine biology major and hope to one day be a veterinarian. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 4 years old. I have experience with dogs from pit bulls to Yorkshire Terriers. I have worked at a large doggy day care in the past that included basic grooming services and am comfortable cleaning up messes. I provided two of my dogs (Honey and Spot) senior care until it was their time. I love finding different enrichment activities for dogs to enjoy and will happily brush and scratch them to their heart’s content. I definitely like to spoil animals with as much affection they want!

Mika was absolutely amazing!!! This was our first full night away from the cats in over a year and a half and one cat has stress induced urinary issues. Mika was so great with them. Sent videos and pictures and spent time playing with them! They didn’t have any stress issues at all while we were away!
Mika is a lovely lady that my dog loved immediately. She's gentle yet firm with my dog, which is needed as she's a pit and stubborn. Mika was also great at communicating and flexible in her schedule. I'll definitely be using her again.
Mika is the first person that comes to mind when I think of someone who is an animal person. She has lots of knowledge on animal care and has told me many stories of pets she’s had in the past and how much mindful she was about giving them proper care, training and attention. Mika is also someone who has motivated me to be a better pet parent and has set a good example for me. She is a dependable, hardworking, and an attentive individual who would do excellent at any task, especially taking care of a furry friend.
Mika is a natural animal sitter. Dogs, cats, birds (and kids) love her like they fall in love with her. She is also very smart and responsible as she can communicate with you well, understand what you need and what makes you happy.

I like to find out how each dog likes to play be it fetch, tug, or a good run. A good walk to a nearby park is a great way to experience new smells and sights.

I’m currently working full-time, but have 4 days a week where I have extra time. My schedule is a little bit more limited on Tuesday-Friday but if you need an early morning walk or evening drop in visit, I can definitely do that.
