I've had the joy of having 15 dogs and six cats throughout my life! Most recently, my husband (Andrew) and I had the most adorable, fun Golden Retriever as our companion who recently passed away after a long life of happiness in our family. So, with our twins all grown and away in university, we are empty nesters who will happily spoil your companion! I work from home every day for 2-4 hours; Andrew is full time work from home. So we are both able to provide whatever care is needed or playtime or exercise outside for a walk. And if you let us know your pet's schedule we can adjust ours to match what your pet needs. Weather permitting, we can take care of and enjoy your pet outside in our unfenced yard, (one or both of us will always be outside with your pet) or out and about for walks. And we make snuggling a priority throughout the day! Looking forward to seeing your companion!

This is the third time I used Mika and Andrew for my fur baby while I was out of the country! They sent daily pictures with an update on how he is adjusting. They love him like he is their own. We will follow your dog’s normal routine, so what’s a typical day like? Your dog will sleep at night however they do at home. We’d also like to know about their potty schedule. And what's their personality like? Active, mellow? A tad high-maintenance?--don't worry, that's ok :-) What is the feeding schedule and anything else about their daily life? Anything your animal is sensitive to that we should know about?
A typical day
Lots of time for playing but also will let them relax when it's clear that's what they want. We’ll give your dog a good, fun "battle" with their favorite pull toy, and we're always happy to get down on the floor with them and roll around! There will be plenty of exercise and time outside as we love strolling on the walking paths in our pleasant neighborhood, Or just sitting under our nice shade tree for a petting is always welcome!
