I am looking forward to walking, jogging, just playing with your pet, or feeding him/her/ them! After owning English Mastiffs for 20 years and a Springer Spaniel for 2 1/2, I am comfortable with handling dogs large and small. Having taken care of a 190lbs mastiff with epilepsy and another one with allergies ,and later in life lymphoma, I am capable of administering oral medication, and remaining calm in any situation ( medical or otherwise). I am available to bring your pets to their vet appointment using your car, and can walk multiple dogs at the same time. My number one priority is to keep your best friend(s) safe, happy and clean, and leave your house just as spotless as I found it. At the moment, with two kids in high school and two dogs at home,I am not available to house sit or take pets in, but I can come over to your house Mon-Fri 8-6, and on weekends with advanced notice.

I cannot recommend Miira enough! She is a huge dog lover that is experienced, passionate and extremely knowledgeable regarding dog health, behavior and overall well being. Miira is a dog owner of large breed dogs, English mastiff's and I first met Miira when I was pet sitting for her dogs years ago, but I quickly learned what a compassionate and well organized and knowledgeable dog owner she was. Her detailed instructions for the dogs needs and personal notes of behavior for each particular dog made my job so easy, as I felt I had already known these dogs for years. Her experience, good communication skills and love of dogs would benefit any home and absolutely any pet. I Highly recommend Miira to care for your pets, she will care for them as if they were her own!

Miira is absolutely wonderful with dogs! And they seem to love her too! She has been a dog owner herself for as long as I have known her. She knows how to handle each dog she meets with kindness and respect. She is a gentle soul herself so I feel that the dogs can sense this. When Miira first met my dog, Lola, she loved her right away. Lola is small dog. Miira came in and immediately bent down to her level to greet her. Lola's tail was wagging and she stopped barking as if they had already met. I would definitely recommend Miira as a dog sitter. Not only is she kind and truly loves dogs, she is also very dependable and trustworthy. All the qualities I look for in someone either watching my dog or walking her.

My schedule is very flexible and I try to accommodate all requests including last minute visits to the best of my ability! I focus on one family’s dog(s) at a time and do not book multiple clients for the same time slot.
