Pet care experience
I am an active, responsible dog sitter and walker/runner that can become fast friends with even the most needy dogs. I have cared for dogs on and off over the years, and have lived with dogs my whole life. I have experience working with shelter dogs and dogs with special needs, and will remember the details of how you want your dog treated down to the T. I took care of one pup for a year, walking and caring for her throughout the week. Last year, I walked a few dogs throughout the week through Rover! Loving pups comes second nature to me, and I take the job very seriously. I am currently a writer and non-profit arts Director, taking time to work on personal projects over the summer before beginning my MFA, and have a flexible schedule. Mihee helped walk our dog Reese for 3 days while I was out of town -- our experience with her was great! Going in we were a bit nervous -- we just adopted Reese a couple weeks back, it was our first time using Rover, and it was our first time having Reese walked with someone other than my partner and myself. Mihee put our worries at ease -- she was responsive, prompt, and had a positive and happy energy to her. Most of all, we really appreciated her compassion and understanding to the special needs of Reese (he can be nervous with new people). Thanks so much, Mihee! We'll definitely give you a call if Reese needs a walking buddy in the future!
Maple was not at all anxious when I came home from work because of her walks with Mihee. Mihee communicates clearly, follows directions, and is very gentle with our fury friend.
Mihee is wonderful with dogs! Nevermind the breed or size of the dog, Mihee has the uncanny ability to read their body language and then put them at ease, while being firm where necessary.
