Pet care experience
Since the age of 12, I have responsibly taken care of cats and dogs. Neighborhood families have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their dogs, as well as care for and clean up after their cats. Summer of 2020 I was able to work as a full time house/dog-sitter. I have even taken care of parakeets and a bearded dragon! In my home, I grew up with two dogs, a cat, and a rabbit.

Mickey cared for our rescues Rex and Leo while we were away for 5 days. When we returned our pups were calm and happy. Mickey did everything we asked to the letter which we greatly appreciated. Our chihuahua Leo takes a while to warm up and she gave him space while he became more comfortable with her. She didn’t panic or give up when encountering this challenge. We also received regular updates and photos of our babies. We cannot recommend Mickey highly enough and will use her again if available.
Mickey does a great job with Bear! She makes everything super easy. She’s very reliable and has great communication. We love that she gets to watch Bear so often, play with him, and take him on walks.
Mickey is awesome! She takes great care of our dog and our house. She’s always on time and very reliable and our dog loves her!
Mickey was a wonderful house and pet sitter for my dog! She arranged a meet and greet with me ahead of time and was very flexible with my schedule. She sent me regular updates on how things were going with pictures of my pup, which was awesome. The house was clean when I came home.

Unfortunately my current apartment only allows ESA certified animals, so I will likely not be able to allow animals into my apartment. I am more than happy to relocate myself to your home for any pet services!

Please let me know if your pet has any special preferences, needs, or quirks. I have taken care of pets that need to be administered oral medication, that need to wear a cone regularly, that have a tendency to chew up or even eat shoes and clothing, and that struggle with separation anxiety. I am happy to accommodate for anything that your pet may need.
A typical day
I absolutely love to exercise with the dogs I take care of! I'm happy to walk them around your neighborhood or at your favorite park. I also love to play fetch, and I've even had a few dogs that like to be chased around their yard! I know how important it is for dogs to be physically and mentally stimulated, and it's a part of dog sitting that I love to do.

Availability
I’m currently attending CSU as a graduate student and also working part-time as a teaching assistant. As a graduate student, I do not have a typical 9-5 job and my schedule offers lots of flexibility! I may need to be away from home for a few hours at a time to attend class, go to an occasional meeting, or to run errands, but the majority of my work is able to be done from any location, as long as I have internet access and somewhere to study. I will be available to spend time with any animals for hours on end, spend the night, and take any animals for walks!
