Pet care experience
Growing up we always had pets and learned how to take care of them. Over the years I have had two ferrets and two large dogs (not at the same time!) Recently I have been doing more pet and house sitting and volunteering for the SPCA. For the SPCA I have walked dogs of all breeds and sizes and helped with adoption and fundraising events.
Reviews
I'm very cautious of leaving my dog in someone else's care due to age and on going medical conditions. Mickey made me feel comfortable leaving my best friend in her care. She was very diligent in administering his daily meditation and special food on schedule. I would recommend her as a responsible person to care for your home and pet.
Your pets will definitely be in good hands with Mickey. I have worked at SPCA Florida for 11 years and therefore tend to have special needs dogs at home. She has walked several of my dogs over the years. Mickey has also volunteered at SPCA Florida in many different capacities including dog walking, cleaning, off site adoptions, fundraising events, food assistance, and helping to transport both dogs and cats. In all that she has done for me, she gets a 5 star review!
Mickey clearly loves animals and Blinx quickly became her lap cat. When I left he was not eating normally and Mickey noticed that his face was swollen. She took him to the vet for me as I was out of the country. She administered his medication and followed his feeding schedule. I can't imagine how bad his infection would have got if she had not been so attentive. She even emptied and washed his litter box. Next time I need a pet sitter Mickey will be the first person I call.

My schedule is very flexible right now. I am talking online classes and can adjust my schedule as needed. That frees me up for walking, drop in visits or sitting.
