Pet care experience
I have a social work degree - and just as much as I love interacting with people, I love interacting with animals! I live with 1 dog and 2 cats - and have been a pet sitter for over a year - so I have a pretty good understanding of animal needs. I have a calm demeanor and can get along with any animal, even those that are shy or scared of people. I will spend the time needed to make your furry family members happy and make sure they don't miss their owners too much. I provide lots of photos and detailed updates throughout the walk/visit/stay to give you peace of mind that your pet is well taken care of. The only thing comparable to the amount of pictures I have of my cat on my phone are the pictures I end up taking of your animals.

Michelle stayed at our house with our cats Gertie and Jambo, over a 16 day stretch while we were on holidays. We came home to a neat and tidy house and 2 happy kitties! Thank you so much Michelle! We will definitely see you again.
Was very disappointed in the care given to my crew. Communication was lacking, updates minimal. The first day my dogs were left for 9 hours when I was originally told it would only be 4. I didn’t receive any communication on where she was until after 8 hours had passed and I reached out. I walk my dogs twice daily for 20-30 minutes and very clearly stated in my notes that this is what they required. Multiple walks were completely missed and when they were walked it was only for 10 minute intervals. Michelle didn’t reach out when she was running late, and didn't mention the missed walks. It was only when she was confronted that she gave some sort of explanation. I felt that if she had been honest at the time I would have been more understanding. Having to ask where your pet sitter is or why they haven’t walked your dogs is uncomfortable, and made me worried the entire weekend I was away. Would not book with again.

This is the second time we hired Michelle for drop in visits for our 2 cats, she did a great job once again! Highly recommend!

I already have a house full of animals so I prefer to offer services as either drop in visits or overnight stays at your homes. For dog walks, I'll generally take them for walks in your neighborhood, or if they are well behaved I will take them to the nearest dog park for some playtime with other dogs. For drop in visits, I'll make sure your pets are fed and give them the love and play time they are looking for! I try to make the best of the time I'm with your pet and make sure I get done everything you need me to do. For overnight stays, I will play and cuddle with your animals and treat them as they are my own family (as long as they are equally as cuddly and want to play). I'll take your dogs on walks and/or go to the park, and give them lots of potty breaks during the day. I'll make sure litter boxes are cleaned as necessary. I'll make sure everyone is happy and having a good time, and promise to give lots of pets and chin scratches.

A typical day
Depending on the dogs abilities and comfort levels, I'll take dogs for a walk around their neighborhood or drive them to the nearest dog park where they can run off their zoomies. I'll even bring a toy to the park to toss around if they love playing fetch!

I work a full time job Monday to Friday, so my caregiving duties would have to be either before or after work, and on weekends.
