Pet care experience
I've always been a cat lover! I had two kittens since I was 17 years old, but I had to leave them at home (Bay Area) when I went to school in SoCal. This year I recently adopted my own Siamese kitten! Since adoption I have taught him how to do tricks and harness trained him to go on walks! I also regularly clip his nails and brush his fur and bathe him once in awhile so I know how to be gentle with cats and to groom them without agitating them.

Michelle is a stellar cat sitter! Although my baby is difficult and territorial, she still helps me when I am out of town and takes care of things when they’re needed. For example, I went out of town before I was able to replenish my litter supply and she suggested that my little one needed some more, which isn’t a requirement for some people watching an animal. But since she’s a cat mom herself, she knew this was important and asked about it. She came during the scheduled window for each drop-in and attempted to bond with my gremlin to no avail. But I appreciate her just the same and she still wants a Balinese cat after meeting my tornado and that’s a testament to how she views animals. Animal lover through and through and thank you so much for your help this past weekend!
Absolutely excellent in every way. Our cat is happy and our house immaculate after she leaves.
Michelle did a great job watching my kitties and has excellent attention to details!

I live in a three story house with lots of space. My room is also a huge master bedroom full of cat shelves as well as scratching posts and plenty of space for cats to run and jump around. I also have a super friendly kitten who is playful and respectful! I can also take cats on walks around the neighborhood and have them play with my sister’s dog. There is a barrier between the dog and where I will keep cat(s). I can also keep the cats boarded separate from my kitty as well upon request!

I would like to know whether or not a cat has vaccinations up to date, negative for FIV/feline panleukopenia, on flea prevention and if they are spayed/neutered. It would also be nice to know if they are a generally playful friendly kitty or more on the shy side. Drop ins: please let me know how flexible the time you entered is and if I should stay for the entire 30 minutes or just stay as long as it takes to get everything done :) Boarding: please let me know if they get along with other cats and dogs :)
A typical day
I love love LOVE playing with cats. I have a fishing pole with a little fish that my cat loves to play with. In addition I have cat shelves with scratching posts so that kitties can have all the fun they want running around and jumping! I also love teaching tricks to cats as well as taking them on walks if they are harness trained!

Availability
I am currently a PhD student at UCI. My daily schedule is usually very flexible as I do partially work from home. I am usually free most of the day!
