Hello! My husband and I are avid animal lovers and can’t wait to care for your fur baby :) We have been working with Rover for over 1 year and have had the pleasure to care for 80+ dogs and cats. I had a labradoodle for 5 years and I was a volunteer dog walker at a dog rescue. My husband has had 9 dogs and 3 cats in his life as well as experience in dog training. We will be attentive to your requests and promise to care for your animals as if they were ours. We have an open house with a fenced yard and can give plenty of exercise. Please note that we love to have multiple dogs (sometimes acts) in the house so we prefer animals that enjoy a fun/interactive atmosphere. Let us know if any concerns you have and we can address them. We speak English, Spanish and Russian

Our two labs had a great stay at Michelle's. She communicated with us well and sent cute photos/videos from their time at her house. We will definitely leave our pups in her care again.
Michelle was AH-mazing with my golden retriever. She and her husband went out of their way to be sure that River was comfortable, loved, and played with. My dog wasn't feeling well but this wonderful couple kept a close eye on her and assured me that if she got worse they had no issues with taking her to the vet. They fed her chicken and rice. I feel wonderful and relieved that I can use Michelle as a boarder and will not worry on bit about her because I know that she is in good hands. YOU will love them too!
Michelle made our first experience with Rover stress free! She met us for a meet and greet beforehand and then checked in regularly throughout with photos. She was also very flexible as we figured out pick up/drop off details. Remy clearly had great time…he was absolutely exhausted from playing! Look forward to working with her again!

We live in a home in Northern Virginia with a fenced yard. The community is family oriented and it is safe to walk around with the dogs at all hours of the day. There are a few parks nearby (Alexandria). We can comfortably give your pet as much outdoor time as you prefer.

A typical day
Going on hikes to parks nearby such as Rock Creek Dog friendly parks in the northern VA area or DC if that is preferable- we used to live in Shaw so we are familiar with DMV Dog Friendly beaches in MD (during spring-autum)

Availability
I currently work from home full time so I can be flexible with whatever your pets’ needs. We usually wake up and let dogs out for the first pee at 6:30-7:00am and take about 4-5 walks throughout the day, totaling roughly 2-3 hours. And we will always have a last potty break closer to 10 or 11pm. We have a car so we can plan trips to Rock Creek Park or a doggy beach nearby during longer stays weather permitting.
