Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs my whole life. We had everything from medium breeds, like Cocker Spaniels, to large breeds, like Bull Mastifs. Now owning a 70lb lab mix as an adult, I can't be happier with my decision to keep up the passion. I'm patient and observant of dog behaviors. As prior service Air Force, I know the commitments of the service and have been dog sitting and walking for several years due to TDYs or members on leave. I have also trained both my dog and worked with some friends dogs for behavioral issues, resulting in a resolution of hyperactive behaviors. I also praise the use of gentle leads (and use one myself) as it's more conducive to an easier walk for both the dog and walker and eases most pulling and jerking behaviors.

Michelle was great. I was so nervous about using Rover and she made the experience wonderful. My dog loves her! I will definitely have her walk my dog again and again as needed! It's nice to know I now have someone who is trustworthy I can count on to check in on my dog!
Wonderful! Michelle went absolutely above and beyond to take care of my dog! She even spent some extra time with him and took care of some extra things when he needed some extra attention in a pinch. I'd highly recommend her!

I would prefer to know any behavioral issues or triggers prior to going on a solo walk with the pup. This is for the safety of us both so I won't accidentally trigger any aggression or run across any preventable issues. No breed restrictions as all dogs act how they are raised. I would prefer a co-walk with the owner prior to flying solo as to observe normal behaviors. As well, a co-visit for drop-ins would be preferred.
A typical day
Not every dog is made for the dog park. And not every owner wants their dog around others they don't know. I get that on every level. While I do not personally take my dog to the dog park, if you prefer yours there, I have no objections. If the situation and behavior allows for it, fetch is always a great go to for burning that energy. But what dog DOESN'T like going to the Greene to visit all the people and smells?! Just as well, the bike trails are abundant here in the Dayton area and those have proven very satisfying for humans and dogs alike.
