Safety-conscious, loving caregiver

Pet care experience

Hi there! My name is Michelle. I have experience with all ages from puppies to seniors. I'm a pet parent with two senior pets myself (a chiweenie and a cat) who have been with me forever. I have experience with medication administration, special diets, and multiple different breeds - labs, shepherds, shih tzu, and daschunds to name a few. Although I live and work in Johnston county now, I also have volunteer experience at the Wake co animal shelter cuddling and walking larger breeds. Safety is my top priority both with my pets and any others in my care. I look forward to chatting more about your specific needs.

Michelle is an excellent sitter. She took care of our dog and I am one satisfied customer. I have already used her services twice and plan to sit with her next time around.

Michelle does an excellent job with pets. She takes very good care of my dog, which is great considering my dog is afraid of most people. Michelle is very responsible, follows directions, and I never have to worry about my dog with Michelle.

Michelle has petsit for us for the past few years. We had a maltese who needed medicine on a regular basis and Michelle kept up with it all and was very kind and easy to work with. We now have a mini maltipoo and a shipoo who stay with Michelle about twice a month and they LOVE her. She's always made sure to update us when we ask and stays on top of everything for the pups (including their walks, food, medicine, potty breaks). I cannot reccomend her enough!!

Safety, trust & environment

Boarding: In my home, we are conscious to keep dangerous things out of reach. Having an unapologetically mischievous dog of my own, I have learned not to leave out anything remotely tasty. There are soft beds filled with fluffy blankets and sheets upstairs and downstairs, and soft places to lie and people-watch in most windows. For pets that stay with me I would be sure to keep them on their normal routines as much as possible for consistency. I have a fenced yard and we also go for walks. Walking or Drop-ins: These visits will be focused around getting needs for exercise, play, and comfort met first. Feel free to provide me with detailed instructions for setting them up comfortably when leaving, locking up and leaving lights on, etc. We can chat about any other requests you may be in need of when we meet.
