Lover of all pets!

Pet care experience

I have had animals my entire life. I have had special needs animals which include diabetic felines, those going through cancer treatment, and those with emotional needs coming from rescues/puppy mills. I have experience with cockatiels, chickens and goldfish. Yup, my feeder fish ended up bring a giant fancy goldfish, lived for 8 years and survived a car ride from California!

Michelle is a very friendly and compassionate person. She has a rescue dog of her own and had one previously when living in California. Exercising and caring for animals is natural for Michelle. She loves animals and is very good with all types of pets. She has had pets since she was a child and caring for them is just a natural part of her personality.

Safety, trust & environment

I live on a half acre fence property in downtown Carnation. I have a 25 pound puppy mill rescue. He is 75% Frenchy and 25% American hairless terrier. He has an extremely high play drive and loves every dog he has ever met. If you have a nervous or shy dog, I would recommend sticking to visits at your home because he can be a little overwhelming at times. We also have children in the house, an infant and two teenagers. If your dog is shy or reactive we not be the best fit.

Information Michelle T. would like to know about your pet

Please be open and honest about challenging behaviors or special needs. I have experience with rescues and animals with medical needs, but I need to be prepared. If your pet is in need of additional companionship, my dog Gizmo is always down for a playdate or a walking buddy

A typical day

I am a critical care nurse with a condensed schedule which means I have 3-4 days off per week! A typical day with my pup includes snuggles on the couch while I drink my coffee followed by a nice long walk along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail to the river. We have a large 0.5 fenced acre property which allows for lots of room to run around and watch the squirrels that run along the fence. We have a puppy mill rescue dog that will be 2 years old in May. He has a lot of energy and loves to run... run... run! So if your pup is looking to set a personal best on their sprinting record, look no further!
