Pet care experience
Growing up with animals and rescuing three dogs of my own has brought so much joy and meaning into my life. I have multiple years experience with cats and dogs. I currently work as an accredited pet trainer at PetSmart. I believe that all animals should be treated as equals being the innocent sentient beings that they are. My promise that I live by is, I will always treat animals with the respect and love that they deserve. I understand that our fur babies are our children and they always deserve the best care and love possible. One of my favorite quotes is, “When I look into the eyes of an animal, I do not see an animal. I see a living being. I see a friend. I feel a soul.”

Michelle is great! Lincoln and Luna loved her. It was great to see all the pictures and videos of the pups throughout the weekend. Couldn’t have found a better person to take care of the dogs. Will definitely have Michelle come take care of Lincoln and Luna again! Thanks Michelle for everything!
Michelle was very proactive and communicative. She took great care of the dogs as evidenced by the photos and their calm demeanor when I returned. The house was just as clean when I returned as when I left. She even left a little thank-you note and some treats for us. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.
Michelle was great with our dogs and sent plenty of great photos to check in with us throughout her stay! It was our first time using a sitter from Rover and we plan to use her services again!
I would highly recommend Michelle as a dog caregiver. She has been around dogs her entire life. She has a deep concern and is very caring of all dogs. I have 3 pug mixes that she has helped me out with over the years and they love her. She has taken them for walks and she has been a sitter for them. I absolutely trust her completely with my babies.

I would like to know how hyper active the dog is and what commands he/she responds well to. I do not have any breed preferences as I love all breeds in the canine family. I will say that both of my dogs are mixes therefore I have the most experience with beagle/retrievers and Chinese shar pei/border collies.
A typical day
The walks I will take with the animals all depends on what their pet parent is comfortable with. Whether it be as simple as a stroll in the neighborhood or as adventurous as a hike in the woods. I’m always up for a good game of tug of war or fetch. Depending on the activity level of the dog and what the owner wants, I will do my best to meet all needs.
