Pet care experience
Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve been pet sitting since I was a young adult and have formally been with Trusted Pet & Housesitters since 2018. My animal experience is with both cats and dogs, and small animals such as fish and hamsters. Ive worked with both puppies as well as senior animals that needed extra attention, love and patience. I’ve had the opportunity to handle multiple sits throughout the US and Europe and have only received 5 star reviews. I’m great at following your instructions and providing regular updates. I enjoy sending owners text messages with pictures of your pets as this allows you to feel connected and comfortable while you're away from your fur baby.

I hit the jackpot with Michelle! She was so good to my pup, Hyacinth, and took fantastic care of her and went above and beyond anyone else who’s taken care of any of our pets over the years. Michelle did such a great job (on short notice) checking in on my English Bulldog. So reliable!
This was our first time using rover and I was unsure but Michelle was so wonderful taking care of our girl! She made accommodations for us, was flexible, always communicating but most importantly loved on our dog when we weren’t there! We’re so thankful for Michelle!

Please let me know if the animal has any special needs or any habits I should watch for. It’s good to know how a dog does on a leash or if we see another animal or person while walking. Do I need to watch out for biting or scratching from either animals.
A typical day
I love to ensure the animals are comfortable and loved. I’m great at following your normal routines so that the dog/cat is well adjusted. I like to provide both physical and emotional support because I know the animals get lonely and some really need attention. As stated I always follow the owner’s guidance as some animals prefer not to be bothered much so I will respect that.

I retired early in order to travel and really embrace and experience life so I’m extremely flexible and open with my schedule and availability. This allows me much time during my day to check in and ensure your fur baby is well taken care of.
