Hey there! My name is Michelle. I'm a registered veterinary technican with 8 years of clinical experience and I absolutely love everything about the work I do. I'm always happy to help your fur, feather or scale babies to the best of my ability! Whether it's going on a fun adventure or making sure they feel happy and comfortable while you're away, I'm here to help. Of course with my work, administering medications is something I am quite skilled at so I'm here to ensure you feel comfortable leaving them in my care. I have lots of experience with animals that have specific medical conditions such as diabetes and are on strict medical routines. I'm also very experienced with senior animal care and palliative care. I love going that extra length to ensure they are comfortable. I'm happy to assist with grooming needs as well, just let me know. I also have experience and training in helping pets cope with various behavioral concerns, so if your pet has any special handling requirements I can help them with this also. I'm a huge believer in Fear Free and positive reinforcement training! Especially with anxious and fearful pets, I take extra time and patience while using a calming presence and techniques to help them feel safer. Ultimately - my goal is make sure that you and your pet is comfortable, safe and happy. Michelle is awesome! My pup is high energy and has the odd challenging behaviour but Michelle has been so good with her and gives me terrific updates through the day. Would highly recommend!
Michelle was so great with my two kitties! She is great at communication and followed all the instructions I had. She also has vet tech experience which means she was comfortable helping me brush the kitties’ teeth, which is awesome. I got pictures/videos every visit, and the kitties were definitely super happy. Would book with her again!

Safety is my utmost priority when working with your fur baby! My first instinct experience with them I prefer to assess how they approach me and allow them the chance to get to know me at their own pace. If they are especially nervous, I always recommend doing a meet and greet so they have reassurance from you. Once we’ve gotten to know each other, I take extra steps while working with them to ensure they are safe. For example, I double check the harness and collar to make sure everything is adjusted properly to prevent any flight risk. On our first walk, I test out how well they respond to my lead and their recall with me. From there, I can make adjustments with them as needed. Should they have any specific behavioural concerns, I will keep that in mind so that I am aware of how they are doing while working with them and either work on them with those concerns and/or watch for potential triggers to keep them safe. With over 8 years of experience working with a variety of animals, you can be rest assured your fur baby is in good hands! I treat all clients as if they were my own. 😊

A typical day
Whether it's a fun jaunt around the neighborhood or an adventure around the beautiful lower mainland, we will have lots of fun! I have my own vehicle that we can use to get to some more exciting spots. I'm active person so I love going for hikes, runs around the neighborhood or longer walks around the sea wall or the city. Its always great to have a buddy to go with!

I’m available to take bookings all day on Wednesdays, until 3pm on Thursdays or in the mornings Fridays - Tuesdays. If you are interested in booking me for house-sitting services, I can absolutely arrange for this around my full-time job schedule. Please message me and we can chat about this!
