Hi There! We are Michelle and Sven from Ohio (Go Bobcats). We’ve been living in Hermosa Beach since 2020 and have been loving the beach life, but we are missing some pets in our life. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and love having furry pets around. We are both very active so enjoy being outside and taking walks. We look forward to hosting some of your pets! We are flexible, easy going people who enjoy biking, running, swimming and playing some catan. Due to our work from home schedules, we are able to spend most of our time in our apartment and rarely leave Hermosa. Happy to tell you more if you are curious about our set up!

Michelle and Sven were terrific with my husky Gypsy. So considerate and they made sure to really wear Gypsy out! Received great updates throughout. Would recommend them as a sitter for any pup.
Michelle and Sven kept us updated about Moose during his stay with them. This really made us feel at ease. I would definitely book them again.
Michelle and Sven were able to watch my dog on a very short notice. Very flexible. Excellent communication. Took great care of my dog. Highly recommend!

We have a balcony which is great for fresh air and afternoon naps for dogs. Our front patio is not fenced in but we do not leave dogs unattended / off leash in that area. We have a very dog friendly neighborhood so prefer dogs to be friendly with other animals.

Please let me know what the feeding schedule is and your typical bathroom schedule so I can provide a similar at-home environment. Important to note if your dog is friendly with other dogs. There are lots of dogs in our area so it is important for them to be friendly.
A typical day
On longer walks, I like to let dogs take their time and sniff around. This stimulates them mentally while also acquainting them with the new neighborhood they are in. I also enjoy taking longer walks around Hermosa. The strand can get quite busy so I stay away from that area with dogs.

Availability
Since we are both fully work from home we have the flexibility to provide bathroom walks as needed. I get off work early afternoon, so do a long afternoon walk most days.
