Pet care experience
I grew up with 2 dogs, 4 cats and even took care of horses to save money as a child. As an adult, I've had cats of my own and always helped my friends out with their pet sitting needs. I've been house/pet sitting full-time since November 2020 as a means to travel and explore the southwest while I re-establish my photography business. I'm a professional photographer so you can be sure you'll receive lots of cute photos of your fur babies while you're away! I can take pets to vet visits/groomers and am happy to give them whatever medications or special attention they need.

Michelle was great! She came over and met the dogs a few days before we left for our trip and we could immediately tell she was going to be perfect! Our two large dogs loved her immediately and she interacted well with them. We left for an 11 day vacation and Michelle kept us updated every day and sent us pictures of our babies each day. We came home and both dogs were in perfect shape! We have one pup that requires daily medication and Michelle was very responsible and provided the medication as directed. Michelle came over early on the morning we left to make sure any last-minute details were ironed out and stayed until we got back home on our return date to make sure the babies were taken care of. Michelle also was kind enough to keep the house clean, take the trash cans to the curb, and collect our mail and packages daily. The house and our babies looked like we had never left! 10/10 stars and would recommend Michelle to anyone! We definitely will ask her to puppy-sit any time we need to leave in the future!
Michelle watched our cat Charlie and was fantastic! I procrastinated a bit in finding a cat sitter. I had reached out to a handful of potential sitters but none were as responsive and flexible as Michelle. She quickly worked with us to find a time to swing by and meet our boy. When she arrived we recognized that she is very friendly and really loves pets, she seemed very excited to get to know Charlie. My wife and I love to travel, but our travels had halted over the last 1.5 year. That was in part due to COVID but also in part due to us losing Charlie’s sister Lola while we were on our last vacation in March 2020. That loss coupled with Charlie experiencing some health issues made us very hesitant to take vacation and leave Charlie on his own. Michelle put our worries at ease. While we were away she sent us many adorable pictures of Charlie and communicated well on his status. In one of the photos in particular, you can really tell he had taken a liking to her. She also was happy to administer the medication he needed. The pill is large for a small cat and administering that is not for the faint of heart, but she had not qualms in getting that done. When we arrived home, we found everything in our house neatly in place. She also wrote us a very kind note and had shared a batch of her vegan brownies, they were delicious! Overall, I would highly recommend her to sit for your pet! It was clear to us that she took good care of Charlie and I know she would do the same for your pet.
My husband and I have had the pleasure to meet Michelle about 9 months ago when we hired her to stay at our house to house-sit and take care of our two dogs (Junior and Bailey). We have had the privelege of her actually staying multiple times throughout the last 9 months. Each time we have been very pleased with her hard work. She goes above and beyond to keep everything in order in our home and yard and spends a lot of time with the dogs. She takes them on walks, plays with them, etc. They love her as we do! She sends photos all the time of them, so we always know they are fine! Michelle is very honest and extremely dependable. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a helping hand. You will not be disappointed.
Michelle was able to work with my wild goats and feed and care for them and even photograph them, when another housesitter could not! Her photos of all my animals she sent while I was away relayed to me her care and love of them and I was very reassured.
