Pet care experience
Ever since I was little, there was a dog in the house. We’ve had numerous Shelties! I’ve also taken care of my brothers lab/blue heeler mix, a Pomeranian, a mini Aussie, a labrodoodle and more! I don’t have any professional experience - but I’ve had my 2 aussies since they were 8 weeks old! I love all kinds of dogs and love being able to get outside and play with them! I do work full time, but I still do my very best to be there for your pup when needed! I start usually at 8, so can get them outside for some exercise before then! I can also come by on my lunch break if we live close. My boyfriend sometimes works later in the afternoon, so he is available to help as well, if that’s something you are comfortable with. I have most weekends off - so am free to play, exercise, pet and scratch your pup, or even just cuddle! I won’t commit to something if I don’t believe I can give your pup the time and care they need. I love getting the dogs outside. There are trails near our place, as well as plenty of places to walk them and just get them some exercise. We have been exploring dog parks as well and loving that! My two boys are great with other dogs - they love to play and run around! We also enjoy all of the cuddles and belly rubs.

Michelle was wonderful with my Aussie pup! She was very responsive, provided several videos and pictures during his stay and clearly gave him a lot of attention! I’d definitely highly recommend her and have Theo stay with her again!
Michelle was great and Walter had a good time playing with her other dogs.

We do have a small yard at our place, as well as a big grassy area that leads down into the woods (it’s fenced off before you reach the woods). It’s easy for the dogs to go in and out. I love puppy cuddles, and especially love when the dogs are comfortable. I do whatever I can to make them feel loved and safe, because I know sometimes a new place can be scary. I’ve always been a dog person, I love all dogs. I am open to house sitting, but it is a little harder for me with my own dogs at home. However, I’m happy to do it if it’s a good fit. I’m open to helping clean, pick up, whatever is needed as well.

No breed preferences. Just like to know the dog is friendly! If they get along with other dogs and people. As long as they’re okay with my dogs, we’re good! If my dogs are uncomfortable or scared, then that isn’t okay with me. Please be honest about your dogs needs.. I understand accidents happen, but if they need a kennel or more frequent potty breaks, that’s something I would like to know ahead of time.
A typical day
We like to get outside! I’m always down for a dog walk. Either just through the neighborhood or on one of the trails nearby. I love playing fetch, tug of war, whatever! You can expect them to receive lots of love, cuddles, and belly rubs!

Availability
I currently work full time, but am home in the evenings. My boyfriend schedule varies, but a lot of the time our dogs aren’t by themselves for more than a couple hours during the week. Between my boyfriend and I, we are able to get the pups out/fed/walked. Evenings and weekends allow us to spend some extra time with them as well!
