Pet care experience
I have owned a Maltese dog, one hedgehog, 2 Guinea pigs and my current Yorkiepoo. I am semi retired and just love animals. Have worked as Respiratory Therapist for 42 years, and want to help pet owners with the care of their "fur babes" when they are away from home. I loved the service so much, I want to help out pet owners the same way. I am available most days/evenings. I do work casual hours, but usually know my shifts 1 month in advance. I will be fairly flexible in availability. I have a fenced yard with one small 3 year old yorkie poo. Ringo is very well behaved and loves smaller dogs. Will be fine with dogs that have lower energy and are well socialized.

Michelle was great with my puppy George. She kept me updated on how he was doing all day and took him for multiple walks. She even sent George home with a toy he had come to like over the two days he was with her. Very highly recommended!
Michelle has looked after our Schnoodle, Misty many times now and we can say that we always know she is in good hands. Michelle is very caring and provides the attention to her own dog as well as ours when in her care. Misty gets excellent walks and a great mix of play/reste time. She has even bathed and cut Misty's nails on occasion. Out dog always looks content when we pick her up. We highly recommend Michelle to care for other dogs if selected to the Rover team.

I have known Michelle for over 25 years and she is a very caring and responsible person.. As a dog owner herself, she know the necessities and the love needed to care for your pet. As a young and fit retiree she also has the time to spend with your pet. She loves the outdoors and is very active in the community with hiking and kayaking. I have a fenced yard and a large park in front, therefore, lots of space for special adventures . Our small Yorkiepoo walks daily off leash as well as on. We walk, at least 2 times per day. However, I will walk your furbabe as many times as deemed necessary. Our 4 level split home has lots of space for "exploring", with no off limit rooms. Supervision will be provided at all times. This includes on our furniture, which we cover with comfy blankets. We are a clean, non-smoking environment, and believe in comfort for human and pet alike.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or characteristics I should know about. My preference is for smaller to medium sized breeds that are well socialized, as my adorable Yorkiepoo named Ringo, does well with these types of doggies.l
A typical day
I will take your dog for walks around our beautiful neighborhood, which includes two parks and a path along a green belt. I have a variety of toys for your dog to play with and will provide some fun basic training.

Availability
I currently work casual, and usually know my shift 1 month in advance. I am flexible when not working with Monday to Sunday availability. I live with my husband of 34 years, who is retired and can assist with watching our pup, while I pay special attention to yours.
