Hello! and Welcome to WOOF & WHISKERS STAY AND PLAY! My name is Michelle, I am 29 years old, an animal rights activist, and lifelong vegetarian. I live with my lovely husband Fernando in a 3 bed 2 bath home located in a beautiful pet friendly neighborhood just off of 13th street in Harlingen, Tx. I do not have any children of my own but my step children (11yrs, 8yrs) visit every Saturday and Sunday and will participate in cuddling and playing fetch with your loved ones if visits and/or drop ins are made on weekends. I have been a loving and caring Fur Momma for the past 20 years which makes me one of those silly humans that wants to bring every animal they see home. I adore all types of animals! Big, small, creepy crawly, or full of fur! No discrimination here :) Woof & Whiskers Stay and Play offers 1 acre of land for outdoor play, abundant with trees, and fully equipped with outdoor cameras that will secure the safety of all visiting fur babies. For those interested in dog boarding, my job location is only 2 minutes from my home so I am available right away if any suspicious activity is alerted to my phone. ❤️ As a pet owner myself I know the importance of finding the right person to care for your babies, I do not take my job as care taker of your loved ones lightly and I will keep you updated as much as possible with videos and photos in order to provide you a stress free experience during your time away from home :) ❤️ During nights all fur babies will have the choice to either sleep indoors in a kennel or outdoors in a 20 ft L x 10 ft W x 6 ft H Retriever Lodge equipped with 2 large dogloos. --Kennels are used during night time hours to secure safety, not intended for all day use. ❤️ IF YOUR LOVED ONE IS TO STAY AT WOOF & WHISKERS LONGER THAN 1 NIGHT, WE POLITELY ASK THAT YOU PLEASE HAVE: *Pets clean and free of fleas or ticks (to not cause any discomfort) *Rabies vaccinations up to date (for safety reasons) PROVIDE: *Food and/or Shampoo (to avoid allergic reactions) *Favorite toys *Personal kennel or crate WOOF & WHISKERS ONLY WANTS YOUR PET TO FEEL MORE AT HOME DURING THEIR STAY, THESE ITEMS ARE NOT REQUIRED. We feel that your pets personal items contain scents from home that may allow your loved one to settle in easier and can reduce stress and anxiety that may arise from staying in a strangers home. ❤️DROP OFF / PICK UP TIMES Monday: 7am-11am , 9pm-10pm Tuesday-Friday: 6am-7am , 5pm-9pm Saturday: 6am-9pm Sunday: 6am-9pm ❤️ Personal references provided ❤️ Personal accommodations may be fulfilled upon request
