You know that person/friend who always wants to pet every dog they see when your out or you'll be talking to them and notice they get distracted because they see a dog coming your way... that's me! I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I can't get enough of them! When I was 5, my amazing Lab, Maggie, had 7 puppies; I was in heaven! Maggie saw me to go kindergarten and to college. She was, and forever will be, a loyal, best friend. After her passing, our black Lab, Abby, came into the picture and she is the sweetest thing! Growing up with Maggie and Abby has made me develop a real passion and love for dogs. Not just Labs, but all dogs. Owning dogs has given me a lot of experience walking, feeding, playing, giving medicine, etc. Also, I understand the responsibility and time it takes to properly care for them. They need to be properly cared for and given unconditional love. Additionally, I am a full-time math teacher (I get out at 2:30pm), and I wanted to try something different in my spare time. I immediately thought about pet sitting because I really loved growing up with dogs, and would love the chance to care for them again since moving to Boulder from New York City.
