Pet care experience
From dogs to cats to rabbits and frogs - I love caring for all pets! Old dogs hold a special spot in my heart, but I have a lot of experience with puppies, too. I’m my free time I wash dog kennels at the Humane Society and care for kitties at Wild Blue Cats. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 dart frogs in my home. I've had house rabbits in the past, and I'm happy to sit for reptiles, fish, and other pets.

Michelle cared for our rescue dog Penny and rescue cat Taco for 4 days in our home. Our dog has separation anxiety and we're always worried about leaving her. Michelle provided regular updates and left our house nice and tidy when she left. We would certainly hire again! Thanks, Michelle!

Michelle was absolutely amazing with our two cats!! She stopped by the house for a meet and greet before we left to answer any questions we had and to get to know our cats and their needs. While we were gone she sent lots of great photos, provided very detailed notes about her time with our cats, and went above and beyond with all our checklist items (even got our shy cats to play). She was also kind enough to ask about our house needs while we were out, like mail, plants, etc. and put our groceries in the fridge that mistakenly got delivered. Overall Michelle was organized, responsive, friendly, clearly an animal person, and took wonderful care of our fur babies. We will definitely be requesting her again when we need a sitter. Thank you so much Michelle!!
Michelle is a kind and loving person, both to animals and humans. She has taken care of our cat on numerous occasions and can always be counted on. She makes sure the animal feels safe and cared for. She even takes pictures of our kitty and sends them to us! We feel very good leaving our kitty in Michelle’s care.

I’m happy to water plants, bring in the mail, clean up any little accidents that might happen, and, of course, hunt for hair balls so you don’t have to worry while you’re gone. I’m an adult and have my own house - I know the stress of leaving your pets and home in the care of others. I will treat your home and pets like my own…probably better than my own!

Please let me know if your dog has special-needs or training you'd like reinforced. Also, let me know if your dog is friendly towards other dogs or not. I have a bit of experience with reactive dogs, I just don't want to be surprised. I want to know what type of play your pet likes, anything they don't like or that scares them, what treats are okay to give, how they like to be fed, and anything else you want me to know about your pet. If your pet takes medication please let me know the best way to administer it, I totally understand there is anxiety around medication. Two of my personal pets have chronic health conditions that necessitate eye drops, pills, and daily injections.
A typical day
I love to let dogs to take lead in how they want to interact with me. This means your dog leads the walk. We tend to walk a bit slower to savor the interesting scents or to roll in the grass (your dog, not me). I love couch potatoes, too, nothing is better than a cuddle on the couch with a pet! I always have treats (that are appropriate and approved by you) to spoil your dog or cat. I have a few cat wands that I bring with to spice up your cat's play routine.

I’m in school full time and stay home with my son, so my schedule is pretty flexible to work around your pets’ needs for visits.
