In my 50 years I have had a dog and/or cat as a pet all but maybe two years. In the last five years or so I began sitting for pets of family and friends. I realized I not only enjoyed it, but the owners were able to relax knowing their pets were being cared for in their own environment. I currently own two rescue dogs, an 11 year old Shepherd mix and a four year old Staffordshire Terrier (pit) mix. They are a big part of our family; traveling, playing with our 1 yr old granddaughter and providing lots of laughs and love. I also try to support the Humane Society of Oldham County when money is available. Dogs play an important role in our world and I enjoy giving them the care and love they deserve.
