Hi! I'm Michelle, and I'd love to be your dog/cat sitter! I grew up with dogs (our family dog is a golden doodle named Morris!), cats, rodents, and fish, so I feel confident caring for all sorts of pets. I was a pet sitter with a professional pet sitting company all through college+, and recently fostered cats for a year! Now that I’m working from home, I miss having animal company and have plenty of availability for overnight boarding. I live in Andersonville which has lots of great walking routes and is close to the lakefront. I'm also very flexible and willing to accommodate you, so if you have any questions about scheduling, please ask! I've taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, from shy yorkies to aggressive rottweilers, so there are very few dogs I am not comfortable watching! I'm sure your pup and I will get along famously. I have experience administering pills, inhalers, liquid medication, and providing care for dogs with medical issues (arthritis, etc). It may be important to know I live on the third floor of a walk up. If I am boarding your small, elderly dog, I am comfortable carrying them up and down the stairs if necessary! I am also comfortable boarding some larger dogs on a case by case basis, so please feel free to reach out.
