Dogs love me as much as I love them
Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for about 30 years. Mostly for family but recently sat for a friends 2 Rottweilers for a few months. The boy, Monster (145pounds) had a badly broken leg and needed special care. I cared for them while their owners traveled to D.C.and for months while they were both working. I am finishing up my dog training schooling while working part time at Petsmart. I have cared for special need animals also and I own 2 special need dogs and another happy healthy dog. One of my dogs is blind and deaf. I have trained her to sit and stay and walk properly on a leash. I also own several cats and reptiles along with a hamster., Guinea pigs, and mice.

Michelle (Shelly) has a deep love for animals, especially dogs and cats. she has quite a few different pets that are all healthy, happy and very well taken care of. I have never seen her abuse an animal and she believes deeply in animal rights. Trustworthy, dedicated and integral are among her traits. Michelle cares for our dogs when we are out of town and I would not want anyone else doing this. They love her and we have never had a problem. Anyone would be lucky to have Shelly take care of their pets. She has the heart and loyalty and would be excellent in the care. She has also taken classes in animal behavior; learning a great deal about animal care. Elayne
Michelle Is great with my animals. I will leave them my dogs for long periods of time and they absolutely love being around her. I can trust that they will be well taken care of and that I will have nothing to worry about while I am away from them.

Meeting your dog prior to seeing booking sitting or walking would be best to make sure that your dog will feel comfortable around me. I am not prejudice against any breed of dog. ..I love them all! If you have a reptile that needs to be watched and feed I also have experience with lizards, turtles and snakes.
A typical day
My dog training experience had allowed me to learn how to walk a dog properly on a leash. Maybe your dog has not been trained on lose leash walking but I will do my best to change that while walking your dog. it will be better for not only your dog but myself. If you have areas you prefer your dog to be walked I will stick to those areas, otherwise most walks will be done in your neighborhood.
