My name is Michelle and I have over three and a half years experience as a dog handler, trainer, and caretaker at several different doggy daycare businesses in Wisconsin. I currently work at Bay View Bark Doggy Daycare in Milwaukee and I am hoping to get my certificate as a trainer next year year. I have experience with training, loose-leash walking, administration of medications, urgent care of minor to moderate injuries or ingestion, canine body language, and monitoring safe play among dogs. My goal is to always provide the most compassionate, safe, and fun care for each and every dog regardless of size, breed, age or special needs! I strongly believe in utilizing positive reinforcement training models for behavior acquisition, modification, and maintenance. Walks and check-ins currently available, as well as homestays under 15 consecutive days. Special needs and senior dogs, as well as dogs needing any (non-injection) medication, are more than welcome! No breed or size restrictions or limitations. I am available for Rover services around my work schedule, which differs from week to week. Please note that I sometimes work third shift which can affect overnight homestays. Please message me so we can make specific schedule arrangements for homestays. Each service with me includes a free physical "report card" of activities, behaviors, training, or general notes listing the fun stuff your pup was up to when you were gone! I can also text or email pictures of your pup so you know they're safe and sound, and having a good time (I think that is also possible through the app as well?) For new clients: please give adequate time for a meet and greet with me, you, and your pup before the first day of service. This is for the safety of your pup and myself.
