Hello! I’m Michelle, owner and founder of Michelle’s Caring Cat Sitting Services. I have been providing my services to cat parents since 2018, either while they’re away or if a helping hand is needed often. My business was established in the Niagara region, I have moved to my new and permanent home in Ottawa as of July 2023! My experience with cat care includes following specific feeding requirements, litter box scooping and thorough litter box cleaning, cleanup of dry and wet cat messes, administering pill or liquid medication, as well as subcutaneous fluids and insulin.

I schedule a complimentary meet and greet with each new client two weeks to a month before the first scheduled visit. During the meet and greet we will do a quick tour of the home, review your cat’s routine as well as my service agreement and spend some time with your kitties so they can get to know me before my first scheduled visit. Is your kitty a bit shy? We can schedule an extra meet and greet to get him or her more comfortable with their new cat sitter! Pricing for the extra meet and greet would be equivalent to one drop-in visit. Checklist for Meet and Greet: - Do your kitties get startled by the sound of the doorbell or knocking on the door? I can call or text when I arrive! - Copy of your key, or your door code. If you live in a building and not able to provide copies of keys we can arrange pick up or drop off. Will your cats require medication? Pricing for giving medication to your cat(s) during my visits can be discussed, additional fee per visit may be added. *I want to provide a helping hand to the health care workers of Ottawa by using my skills as a Certified Professional Cat Sitter to offer a 10% discount on my services! If you are in the health care field for pets or humans and would like assistance with cat care please contact me to discuss.*
A typical day
My services include daily drop-in visits to your home where I check in on your cats and ensure their food and water are refilled, litter is cleaned, and they enjoy some playtime! You’ll also receive daily photo updates so you can see your kitties while you’re away!

I am available for one to three drop-in visits per day seven days per week to accommodate your kitty's feeding routine, playtime, and medication administration if needed.
