Pet care experience
I have 2 dogs of my own at home, several before them, and I am often the go-to person to pet sit for any friends or family. I have always been around dogs, they are what i’m most comfortable with, and I love every minute together. I also have lots of experience with dogs with special needs (my recently passed pit bull had cataplexy 0narcolepsy and battled pneumonia for a while), bully breeds (I love pitbulls and staffys), administering medication, and multiple dogs at once (I have watched and successfully entertained 5 dogs at one time). Dogs are my language and they seem to know that. Overall, I just like being around dogs and offering my services on here is a way for me to be around them when I am not home with my own. Thank you for letting me borrow your pet!

Michelle did an amazing job! My first time using Rover and I wasn’t sure what to expect but Michelle exceeded my expectations. She went above and beyond and made sure to always give me updates. My dog is very needy and she made sure to give him all the attention. I always feel bad leaving my dog but we came home and he was such a happy boy I will definitely be booking with Michelle again!

I will be sure to feed on schedule, always provide clean water, give medicine when needed, watch them as they go outside or inside to use the restroom to make sure it was done and cleaned, I will play with them for as long as they’d like. I also love taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood if they are able to, usually a little running added in to burn some extra energy and have fun. I will send pictures of your pets as well.

I just need to know if your dog has any special needs like medications, food restrictions, any behaviors that could trigger something in them, etc.
A typical day
Like I mentioned before, I love taking dogs out for walks around their neighborhood, if they are able to. I even carry my own doo-doo bags, so I’m always prepared. Besides walks, I love to come up with enrichment activities for them, play with their favorite toys, and hangout with each other.

Availability
Mondays and Wednesdays I am in Springfield for teaching clinicals from 7am to 5pm, so these days are typically not doable for me. I have classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 3:15, and work at Panera after classes and a bit on weekends. My max shift length is only 6 hours (often only 4 or 5 hour shifts), so I won't be gone the entire day when dog sitting.
