Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs all my life, and my parents even own a pet grooming salon. I’ve cared for my parents’ 2 dogs, my friends’ dogs and now my own dog who I’ve had for the last 3 years. Morty is a 20 lb rescue chiweeenie/beagle who loves friends and napping.

Michelle (and Morty) were great pet-sitters for my little guy! She was prompt in responding and very flexible from a scheduling standpoint. Morty is super friendly and got along great with my dog. It's really nice that my guy has someone to play with during the day and that I know Michelle will keep a watchful eye over him.

We have an enclosed courtyard with grass and gravel for potty breaks and playtime outside the apartment. I also walk the dog around the neighborhood which is quiet, safe and has large sidewalks.

Morty loves friends. He will wrestle with fun loving pups of similar energy levels then nap near them for hours. If you have a puppy, we ask that the puppy be crate trained as Morty does get tired of too much play if it goes on for hours.
A typical day
We start our day with a 30-60 minute walk around the neighborhood, followed by breakfast and some toy playtime. Morty usually plays by himself or naps until 12-2pm when we go for a lunchtime walk or play outside. Morty gets an evening walk to the park nearby where he plays with some friends or fetch.

Availability
I WFH Friday and spend most of my weekends hanging with my dog at home or various parks. We’re hoping to open up our home to a friendly dog that likes playing with another dog and napping throughout the day. I start work around 9am and finish around 7pm usually, with a few walk breaks throughout the day.
