Years of experience caring for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens. I’ve cared for a variety of dog breeds from Chihuahua to Great Dane and they always love to join my little pack. Currently housesit regularly a rural home with 4 horses, two ponies, a standard poodle & 2 mini schnauzers. Willing to water plants, bring in mail, chat with neighbors, etc, as needed.

Currently only sitting in clients home. We will typically meet ahead of time for about 30 minutes for an intro with pets, review normal routine and any other crucial points to be considered during your absence. Some clients want daily updates or video calls, some don’t. Whatever you’re comfortable with while you’re away is what we’ll do.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or quirks that should be considered. I prefer pets that are trained to respect personal space and breeds that are on the calmer end of the spectrum, especially if the current outside climate is unsuitable for them to expend adequate energy. No biters or dogs that threaten to bite.
A typical day
Purpose and exercise are important to a dog’s calm state of mind. Adequate outside time, playing fetch, going on a walk, or playing at the dog park are options that I’m open to providing if it is part of your pet’s regular and normal routine.

Availability
My schedule is flexible allowing me the ability to coordinate pet & house sitting needs. Winter is a bit more restrictive during the workday but usually not an obstacle. Distance, weather, and reasonable scheduling do factor into consideration.
