Pet care experience
I'm that person who must pet every dog I see! I grew up with a big german shepard mix and as an adult, have owned two loving golden retrievers. Our current golden, Arrow, is a registered therapy animal and we volunteered in nursing homes prior to Covid. I'm now working from home full time and have time to walk, play, or take care of your dog when you can't including early mornings, around the lunch break, and after work is over. Walking and taking care of dogs keeps me fit and healthy as well, so it's a win-win! Dogs fill me with joy and I can't wait to meet your beloved pet.

I'm familiar with many different leashes and harnesses and ALWAYS clean up messes on walks. If your dog isn't great on a leash, I can use treats or other motivations to inspire good behavior. I'm comfortable administering medications and basic grooming, like cleaning ears and brushing. If you have an older dog that just needs some love and attention, I can provide that too.

A typical day
I love exploring new parks and trails, especially shady ones during the summer months. If your dog likes water activities, I can set up water play to get out extra energy while keeping your dog nice and cool. If your dog likes to play catch or frisbee, I'd love to engage with them in this activity as well.

Availability
I work from home full-time and am available before and after work, plus during the middle of the day. I also have two teenage boys who can help me if you have multiple dogs and need an extra pair of hands to manage.
