I’ve had dogs and cats for my entire life and am a pet-owner myself! I had a senior cat named Blackberry and currently have a young cat named Rosie. I worked for a professional pet-sitting company while I was in my undergrad in North Carolina which gave me plenty of pet-sitting/dog-walking experience to rely on in my freelance pet-sitting. While I don’t have dogs of my own, my family has always had two at minimum in the home, and I have helped care for them both as puppies and as seniors requiring various medication. I am comfortable administering pills and basic medicine to animals, and have given subcutaneous fluids to my own senior cat. I love being around animals as much as possible, and caring for animals is a great way to balance out my life as I begin my DMA in clarinet this fall at OU!
