I've had a beautiful and loyal German Shepard for six years. I played, bathed, fed, and went on all sorts of adventures with him. I could go on walks longer than he could! Even though he hated it, I was very efficient and thorough when giving his baths. I know just how important hygiene is for those guys. I don't skip the teeth or ears either; those parts are especially important. I cared so much for that dog. Unfortunately in December my family had to make the difficult decision of putting one of my best friends to sleep after finding out he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in between his ribs. One of the reasons I want to become a dog-walker and sitter is because I want to be able to take care of dogs again. It's a passion for me. And because the house I'm currently living in doesn't allow pets, dog-sitting is the only opportunity I have to care for animals again.
