Pet care experience
I have always wanted a dog or cat since I can remember. As a student, I was pet sitting most weeks for friends, family or through Rover! This has given me experience with all kinds of breeds: From Dachshunds to Whippets, Border Collies through to Alsatians and Bernese Mountain Dogs! Having finally reached the right circumstances to have my own dog, we rescued our LabxJack Russel mix, Chloe. Whilst we are working through some dog reactivity, she’s an absolute delight and I’m so thankful we are able to provide her with a loving home and help her learn how to navigate the world!

Michelle was an amazing dog-sitter! She gave so much attention to our dog Milo that our weekend trip was definitely a holiday treat for Milo as well! Michelle took Milo on long daily walks ensuring he was very well exercised, fed, played with and cared for. Michelle stayed at our home for three days and was extremely tidy and neat, in fact we worry she didn't relax enough! We are very grateful to Michelle and feel lucky that she was our dog-sitter.
Both times Michelle has been over to take care of our puppy she has been extremely professional and had great and quick communication. Throughout the day she sent me pictures and updates letting me know how everything was going. I would definitely recommend Michelle to look after your dog!
My Beagle (Rodger) had a fantastic time with Michelle. He was with her for two nights and 3 days. Michelle was very attentive with him, regularly sending me pictures and updates. Being a Beagle he needed lots of walks and where Michelle is situated (near to the large parks in Cambridge), Rodger was walked often and for good durations. I would fully recommend Michelle for any dog owners that are looking for a loving and attentive sitter.

We have a secure, 6ft fenced backyard which provides a brilliant place to play fetch or let out some zoomies! We also live close to the river and canal for more peaceful walks if your dog struggles with traffic or noise.

It would be great to know any anxieties or triggers that your dog has. I can cater for both solo walks or walks with my dog. If the walk is combined with my dog, it would be great to hear about your dogs play style and if there’s any behaviours I should be aware of.
A typical day
On our walks, I like to prioritise “sniffaris” for the majority of the walk and let the dog set the pace. I like to split up the walk with a few minutes of training (loose leash heal, sit, stay, come) and some games like finding scattered treats in order to test and train engagement throughout the walk!

Availability
I currently work from home on most days, which allows me to be home with my pup but also still gives me the flexibility to help others with dog walking where needed. I am a very active person so would love to have another fluffy companion for my walks or runs!
