Availability
Currently, I’m not accepting vacation stays for dogs (3 drop-in visits per day) unless another sitter is also assigned for the week to help cover visits. I'm available between 11:30am-9pm for drop-in visits to your smoke-free and fragrance-free* home. Pet-sitting will be the only out-of-home gig I’ll be working on when I’m pet-sitting for you. *Fragrance plug-ins, diffusers, sprays, etc. Out of town assignments may have an additional travel fee.

I will provide my full attention to your pets while I'm visiting with them. I am gentle with pets and refrain from using unnecessary force (e.g. no yelling, swatting, or yanking on the leash). I can practice commands your pet knows, as needed ('sit' for food, door, etc).

It’s good to know about your pet’s likes and dislikes, so I try to discuss this and other things to get to know your pet when we meet. If there are any behavior or health issues, please let me know before meeting. A week’s notice is suggested for setting up a meet—and-greet, which should be at least a week before the needed sitting.
A typical day
I will check on all animals in the household, providing attention to them, and adjust lights and put out the trash if needed. I like to have dogs do tricks for treats and have cats play a little during at least one visit in the day.

I'm looking for pet sitting clients in Niles, Ohio (and nearby). I enjoy taking care of animals and will provide honest and reliable service! I enjoy spending time with cats and dogs and have cared for pets since childhood. I can pet-sit small, medium, and some large dogs (e.g. golden retrievers, poodles or mixes thereof, female labs, and more).
