I have pet sitting experience in my home and I have also fostered dogs for local rescues. But beyond that I worked at a very large boarding facility for 2 years in San Francisco. We were able to house 200 dogs at a time and this included group play sessions, feeding, medications, and basic grooming. I loved each and every dog and just wished I could spend more time with them 1 on 1 so that's why I enjoy dog sitting and walking for families. I have a very friendly dog, Benny Lava Rocket. He is 5 and has loved every dog he has met so far. I also have a 12 year old daughter so I will need your dog(s) to be child friendly if staying in our home. I am currently a stay at home mom so that's where I am most of the time! My dog is very active and I make sure he gets the proper exercise so his body AND mind can relax at the end of the day. I will do the same with your pet. It is important to let me know your dog's activity level so I can match what they are used to while you are away. Of course lazy dogs are welcome too! If you have a puppy or a dog that is destructive when anxious I will require that they be crate trained in case I need to leave the house.
