RN w/ passion caring for animals

Pet care experience

I take only one household at a time! So if your dog(s) do not get along with others or you want your fur baby to have 1:1 undivided attention, I am the sitter for you!! You will feel comfortable leaving your dogs with a registered nurse. Iv been a nurse for over 8 years and have always watched and cared for animals on the side as a passion. I have been a travel health care worker the last few years and although wish to eventually have pets of my own, being able to provide your pets with love and attention fills the void in the interim. I believe in quality, nurturing care for animals just as much as people. I have experience working with dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and even large farm animals. So what ever your needs may be, I will be able to lend a helping hand. By bringing together my love of animals and my background in healthcare, I hope to offer animal owners a peace of mind while away from home. I’m available quite often as my work schedule is flexible!

Our dog normally travels with us but Michelle made us feel comfortable leaving him. He had a great time taking walks and playing ball. Thank you Michelle!

Michelle did a great job with our 2 dogs while we were away. She was good about sending us updates during the day, and they looked happy and well taken care of when we returned!

Michelle did a good job taking care of our senior sheltie! He has lots of medication, and needs to go out a lot due to his aging bladder, and Michelle managed all of that well. She seemed very sweet to him, and observant to his needs. We forgot his dog bowls when we dropped him off, but she improvised for us so we didn't have to make an extra trip over. The only thing I would suggest is sending more pics.

Michelle did a great job with our 5 month old yellow lab. She was patient and caring and we plan to use her for puppy sitting again.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fenced In yard that can provide stimulation when needed. I prefer to walk animals in my care unless instructions specify otherwise. I try and provide a similar home environment to what your animal is accustomed to. It is already stressful for them being away from you, so I try my best to make them feel as secured as possible!

Information Michelle G. would like to know about your pet

I like to think of myself as a boutique in pet sitting. We like to accommodate only one pet or pet(s) per household. This ensures your fur baby receives undivided attention and less stress on owners for any accidents that could happen w multiple dogs from different homes. We can also customize your dogs care the best this way. Only thing we ask is all dogs/puppies are house trained :)

A typical day

Playing, walking, lounging in the family room. I love a good romp or a nice quiet evening on the couch. I try and accommodate to whatever your fur baby needs!

I work a flexible schedule working in health care. We tend to leave as little as possible when we are boarding a loved one of yours!
