Pet sitter and dog walker!
Pet care experience
I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was a kid, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a beloved member of our family for 12 wonderful years, and since then we have welcomed three more pups into our lives. One of them is my own, Nala, a pitbull mix who is truly my entire world. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including geriatric dogs and those needing regular medication. In addition to dogs, I’ve had rabbits since I was 11. My current bunny, Minnette, will be 14 this August after losing her bonded partner in 2021. I’ve also regularly cat sat for friends and family and am comfortable with feline care. Over the years I’ve rescued many dogs and volunteered at the Animal Protective Association, also known as APA, in St. Louis where I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a particular interest in dog body language and behavior. I love learning how to make animals feel safe, understood, and happy. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or energetic, I will be attentive to their unique needs and treat them like family.

Reviews
Michelle is an animal lover through and through! She has always been so good with my dogs. She is kind, compassionate, and loves on them like they are her own! They love her too! I'm super particular, so it's great knowing that they will be well cared for and get plenty of attention when I'm not there.

Michelle was so kind and provided several photos & videos of our pup during the drop in/walk. Would recommend her a 1000%!
Michelle took care of our two dogs and two cats, and she did an amazing job! She’s incredibly responsible, attentive, and so good with animals. Our pets absolutely loved her. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such great hands. We’d happily trust her again anytime!
Michelle is the biggest animal lover I know! She’s cared for my large dogs a Pitbull and a St. Bernard with so much love and patience. She’s amazing with small dogs too and treats every animal like family. Michelle truly has the biggest heart, not just for dogs but for all animals. I always feel completely at ease knowing my pets are in her care.

I have always been an avid animal lover-- not even just dogs, but all sorts of pets! I have had my bunny since she was 1 year old and I was 11, and she is now about to turn 14 next month! I have also had dogs since I was 7 years old! I grew up with my childhood dog, Louie for 12 years. Now, I have my own dog, Nala. I have had her for about 3 years now, and I consider myself to be a helicopter parent (ask anyone haha)! With that being said, I am ALWAYS paying attention to details, instructions, and am very vigilant about making sure your pet is getting everything they need. As I do with my own pets, I will give that same attention and dedication to yours!
Information Michelle G. would like to know about your pet
Because I am so detail oriented and want to give your pet the best experience, it is super important to me to get to know a little more about your fur baby before I meet them! Common behaviors, likes and dislikes, or things to avoid are very helpful to know before getting acquainted with your pet. That way, I can know what to expect and we can both have the smoothest and best time.
A typical day
As a pet parent myself and long time dog owner, I know how important it is to keep your pets occupied during the day! I am a big advocate for not only physical exercise, but also mental exercise! I love doing mentally enriching activities such as snuffle mats, treat puzzles, or frozen Kong toys. On top of this, I also love exercising pets, whether that is a walk or playing with your cat/pet. With my own dog Nala, I take her on a walk daily and provide her with some sort of activity as well. A tired dog is a happy dog!
