Pet care experience
I have loved animals ever since I was a kid. My family has 3 cats and 3 dogs - a chiweenie, a doxie and a frenchie. My two (human) daughters are natural animal lovers as well who are happy to snuggle and play with any willing kitty or pup! Chances are I may have one or both of them for some or all of the visits, depending on the days and times. They are great for active pets that love to play or for relaxed ones that just want a lap to snooze in!

I cannot praise Michelle enough! She took care of my two cats, one of which needed medication, while I was out of town. When she and I first met, she asked thoughtful questions and made me feel comfortable that my cats were in good hands. Over the drop-in visits, Michelle provided a detailed report of what she did and how each cat was doing during the visit. When one of my cats refused to eat while she was there, she was patient and went out of her way to check up on him again to make sure he was doing well. It's obvious that Michelle sincerely cares about the animals that she watches. She is a calming presence, and I would recommend her to anyone.
My review is for drop in services requested for a small old dog and a 4 month kitten. Michelle put my mind at ease with the report cards and attention to detail. I would recommend for drop in care.

I love details and specifics. You ask me to do something, and it will get done! I know you have a specific way you want your pet cared for and I want to be able to do it the exact same way. So don’t be afraid to lay it all out, exactly how you want it done. I am also happy to bring trash cans to the curb & bring them back in again as well as check the mail or bring in any packages. I don’t have a green thumb myself, but I can also water plants if you tell me how much and how often.

I want to know your pets play level and their feelings about kids. My two girls love to come along, but if you would prefer they did not let me know and we can work out a better schedule for the visits. How do you like them fed? Do they have a special toy or blanket? Do you allow your pet on the couch or other furniture?
A typical day
I love playing with active pups or kitties and have no problem spending most of the visit getting in their exercise. On the flip side, I am also happy to snuggle up and give a ton of loves to those pets that would just prefer a relaxing visit.

Availability
During the school year I take my girls to school around 8:45, so depending on driving distance, I can do a morning drop-in or walk as early as 9:00am - but on the weekends or during the summer vacation I can come by as early as you need!
