Pet care experience
Grew up with dozens of pets ranging from dogs, cats, turtles, fish, and more! Have been pet sitting on and off for 20 years for part time work! Many years of volunteering at animal shelters. I am my friends/family go to for help with their fur babies. I tend to have an easy time bonding with animals of all kinds and have even rescued many in my local area. I have experience with general care taking, medication, walking, leash training, brushing and playing with pets.

I take parenting my pets as the biggest responsibility in my life. I pay attention to detail on feeding times/measurements, medication, ensure promptness and consistency and provide a nurturing and calm environment for all animals. I go for hikes everyday so am fully capable of lots of dog walking. Most importantly, tidiness is of the utmost importance for me in my home and to leave a clients home better than I found it.

I can handle most dog personalities but would like to know in advance what to expect so I can meet their needs upon first site. Good to know if they have certain cues that tell you something specific or coping mechanisms that are encouraged.
A typical day
I love hiking and being outside! Would love an excuse to go on more walks. If the weather is bad, trust we’ll be playing inside. I have two cats so I have indoor play down.

Availability
I work full time from home as an assistant but remote work allows me to find time for other actives, hobbies and part time work. Happy to do quick stop ins, last minute feedings/walks and overnights if my schedule allows. My schedule is rather predictable and I can work from anywhere so I can be flexible.
