The pets I’ve cared for in my home sleep and eat in an area that’s just off the kitchen, so they have their own space but aren’t isolated and alone. When I pet-sit in someone else’s home I take care of their pets as instructed in order to minimize any potential stress and anxiety on the part of the pet owners *and* their pets.
