Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits and even a hamster. I have 3 years of experience taking care of a senior dog with health care needs and have a regular cat client with special needs as well. I grew up in the country surrounded by farm life and I'm not afraid to get dirty if I need to if that's what it takes to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you are away. With regard to my ability to travel to provide services, I can travel up to 100 miles for overnight house sitting. I can travel up to 15 miles for drop in visits. If you have a fenced in yard I will play with your dog or cat in the yard, playing fetch, chase or whatever games your pet enjoys. If you do not have a fenced yard then I will walk your dog 2 times per day and occasionally take them to a dog park if one is nearby. Cats litter box will be scooped twice a day and all pets will be fed according to your preferences.

I was nervous boarding my car and dog, so I figured I’d check out Rover. Michelle was wonderful. She stay in my home so my babies did not have to be alone. She sent me pictures and videos of both of them and they looked like they had a great time. I would definitely book her again if I was staying in this area!
Michelle was wonderful. My three dogs all cuddled with her and slept on the bed with her. One of them got sick and got some poop and blood on my quilt and she cleaned it up as best as she could and still made sure Rosie was okay. She was in frequent contact with me for the 2 days Rosie was sick. She sent pictures to me throughout the days I was away. She is kind and loves playing with dogs even if it means getting down on the floor to do so. I recommend her highly. She's really very special.

When in your home I will sit outside with your pet if there is a fenced back yard so I can keep my eye on them. If I'm going out the front door for any reason I will ensure your pet is distracted with either a toy or an approved treat to help prevent any type of escape. I will use the same safeguarding if I take your dog in my car to walk at a dog park or walking trail. They will be leashed before I ever open the car door (or front door if going for a walk around the neighborhood) and this will always only be done with your permission.

Please let me know what breed and size your dog is, if they have any special needs. Are they house trained, do they know any special commands, are they kid friendly? I will only take care of 2 dogs at a time, max. This is for your pets benefit as well as mine. I want to be able to provide the best care I can in your absence. If your dog is a rescue please let me know ahead of time. Thank you!
A typical day
I love to play ball, take walks, or sit peacefully outside watching squirrels, rabbit, birds and other wildlife. My favorite activity is hiking and if your pet can go on a hike with me we will both be happy!

I'm retired and have plenty of free time to spend with your pets. I look forward to it since I cannot have pets where I currently live. I will always mark my calendar as unavailable if something is going on which would interfere with my ability to sit with and take care of your pet
