I have been around dogs my whole life; having grown up with an awesome pup and taking care of him into old age and into doggy heaven, now owning a beautiful little dog named Jordie, and being a frequent dog sitter for friends and family through the years. I love taking dogs out for long forest hikes and town walks, playing with toys inside and outside, working on tricks, snuggling, and giving ear scratches and belly rubs. I also have experience with giving dogs home baths and fur trims. I am interested in doing daytime home visits, taking your pup out walking or playing during the day, or staying overnight in your home with your dog. I currently work part time teaching geology and am available to hang out with your pup any days except Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am looking forward to meeting your furry friend!

Michelle has watched my dog many times both for the day and overnight. This dog means more to me than most of my family members, so it says something that I trust Michelle to take care of her. Also, she's a super active person, so she's really good at tiring out overly-energetic pups!
I met Michelle while volunteering in an SPCA about 10 years ago, walking shelter dogs together. An active hiker and outdoorswoman, dogs under Michelle's care get plenty of walking, playtime, and hiking adventures to engage their bodies, noses, and brains! In the past 10 years, Michelle has consistently been an attentive and loving dog caretaker for many dogs - both her own dogs, housemates, fosters, and dogsitting. She's seen the gambit of behaviors, from skittish walkers to destructive chewers to talented escape artists. Michelle is the first person I would reach out to when I need someone to care for my critters!
Michelle is definitely an exemplar for someone who takes great care and has a pure love for dogs! She was always more than happy to care for our dog and she always made it a point to take our dog on advenutres.
