Pet care experience
I've actually taken care of dogs for more than 10 years, but I didn't actively start doing it myself until 2017. I am experienced in taking care of multiple dogs at once, and I always take care of my friends' dogs when they are out of town. They rely on my to feed them, play with them, and also take them on walks. Since I have my own dog, I always make it a point to take him on walks every morning and every evening. When I watch other dogs, I do the same for them (depending on what their owner says and their energy levels)
Reviews
Michelle is a caring and sweet person and pays close attention to every detail. Your pet will be in the best hands and well loved.
The care Michelle displays with the pets she has herself and the ones she cares for goes above and beyond. I have a almost two year Goldendoodle named Finley and whenever I need someone to watch her, I think of no one else than Michelle. She is so thoughtful of Finley and makes sure to provide the best experience for him through playing, mental stimulation, and love! Michelle takes the time to get to know both the owner and the pet and is able to adapt to so many different types of dogs. Her adventurous nature and her radiating personality creates such a fun, safe, and enriching environment for the pets she watches. With Finley, I only need to say "Michelle" and his tail starts wagging and he is running to the front window to see if her car is pulling up. Other traits I value in Michelle is her level of responsibility and communication, whenever she would take Finley out, she would always ask me if a certain food or activity is okay for Finley and always provides a summary of what they did. I can think of no one greater than Michelle to become apart of the Rover family and share the love she shows Finley to the rest of the pets out there!
Michelle watched my cats while I went on two separate week long vacations. She is an excellent communicator, incredibly reliable, and an absolute animal lover! I can't recommend her enough.
Michelle is extremely caring with any and all dogs she encounters. She will do anything for a dog and will always ensure they are taken care of. She's always willing to walk dogs multiple times a day and also makes time for play. Recently, she watched 3 dogs at once and was able to walk all three dogs (each greater than 50 pounds) for 2+ miles each day for 5 days. Michelle has an aussiedoodle that is really energetic, and she makes sure that he gets the activity he needs per day. Any dog she sees, she's always so kind and shows a lot of love to them. She also flew back to her parents house to watch her family dog while they traveled out of the country for a month. Not only does she do a great job feeding multiple dogs at once, she's also really mindful of when to take them out to go to the bathroom and ensure that they get some play time as well. I highly recommend Michelle for dog walking and drop in visits!

I will always make sure the pet is fed and ensure they get their activity in as well. For instance, when I take care of my dog, I take him on a long walk (2 miles) and then I be sure to feed him right after because I know that's the schedule he enjoys. Then after I'm done walking and feeding him, he takes a nap while I work in my office. Later in the day once I'm done with work, I take him on another walk or I let him out in the backyard to go to the bathroom. For other dogs I take care of, I am sure to ask the owner what they prefer. I watched a husky mix and a lab mix (along with my own Aussiedoodle) all at once once. I made sure to feed them separately, walk them all together, and then let them play whenever they felt like playing indoors or outside! I really enjoy taking dogs on walks because I feel like they get so excited to explore new things. Not only do I make sure to feed, walk, and play with them, I also make sure that they have the time to do some strategy games (for instance finding treats, strategy toys, learning new commands/tricks). All in all, I love watching and walking dogs! They're the best!
Information Michelle E. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know if they are aggressive (how you usually handle it or what to do), if they need any specific medicine or care throughout the day, if they get along with other dogs, and how they are on walks when they see another animal (such as a squirrel or another dog).
A typical day
I usually take them on a long walk if the weather permits it! We either walk around the neighborhood or we do a hike somewhere. I like to walk next to a water conservation area near my neighborhood or just anywhere around the neighborhood I will walk my dogs!

Availability
I'm more than happy to take care of pets after 2 or 3 pm Tuesday through Thursdays. I work from 6-2EST every weekday from home, so my schedule could be flexible if I needed to go do a drop in earlier or later in the day.
