I've gown up with dogs and currently have my own. We passed Obedience Training together and I'm a huge fan of positive reinforcement and throwing a "puppy party" whenever the dog does something correctly. I have experience with large dogs (90 lbs) and my smaller dog (25 lbs). Having lived in the area for a couple years now, I know where to walk so dogs have the best sniffs, get the best workout, and avoid the not-so-great places. I'm hyper-aware of how the dog is acting and behaving so I can make sure they're feeling healthy, nothing hurts, and they're happy to be out and about. I'll never force a dog to do something it doesn't want to - unless it's time to come home, of course :)
