Pet care experience
I started pet sitting, boarding and dog walking almost 20 years ago and love my work! I’ve grown up with many different pets and have always had dogs in my life. My Jack Russell (and best friend) ‘Skippy’ I sadly lost last year after 17 happy years together, so currently share my mothers dog and still dog sit for friends and neighbours which i get the greatest pleasure from. Animals are my passion in life and I treat all pets as if they were my own.

Michelle was a great find on Rover. Bertie had a great time with Michelle. Michelle looked after Bertie as if he was her own. After a very successful ‘meet and greet’, Michelle looked after Bertie for 6 days, he was always very happy to see her. Michelle communicated well, was flexible and was genuinely catering towards Bertie. We had lots of photos and videos during his stay. I would definitely use Michelle again

I have a fully enclosed fenced garden and live in a quiet area away from a main road. I often have my mothers dog if your fur baby likes the company of other dogs but equally, if your dog is more solitary, I can provide that too!

A typical day
I love to walk in local Topsham Park, Woodbury common and my favourite - Exmouth beach! If your dog is older and doesn’t enjoy long walks anymore there’s plenty to keep them stimulation around my neighbourhood with lots of areas of greens dotted around to include a small wood on the doorstep, and with so many dogs living local, plenty of smells for them to enjoy!

Availability
I’m currently working flexible hours, part-time, so have plenty of quality time to spend with your pet who I believe would need my full attention, especially in the first few visits while they adjust to a new carer, possibly unfamiliar surroundings and potentially missing their owners.
