Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs of my own and spent a couple years training guide dog puppies. Our sweet husky mix passed away a couple years ago and this isn’t the right time in our lives to get a dog of our own, so we have lots of love to give to your fur babies. We currently always have someone (me or my husband) home with our 2 and 4 year olds so we have lots of time to give your fur baby all the attention they need. I typically go on 2-3 30 minute walks a day. We let dogs out in our fully fenced yard depending on what they or their owners want. We can feed them on whatever schedule you prefer. We are completely okay with adapting how we care for your pets to whatever you’re comfortable with.

Coco hasn't stayed with anyone aside from family for most of her life, so we were a bit anxious about using Rover. We got incredibly lucky with Michelle and Connor and their kids. Michelle and Connor were absolutely amazing hosts for Coco and they were patient with our lists of questions prior to boarding. Their kids were mindful of treating Coco gently even though they were very excited to have her in the house. We booked a daycare day and a boarding day before Coco's week-long board so she could get used to staying at their house, and arranging those with Michelle and Connor was a breeze. They gave us updates every day with pictures of Co living her best life and were very quick to get back to us when we were arranging pick-up or drop-off times. Logistics aside, Coco was excited to see Michelle and Connor again when we dropped her off, which was really all we needed. Coco was healthy and happy when we picked her up. Michelle and Connor will be our first pick when we need boarding again. Thank you so so much!
Michelle & Conner showered our dog with love during his stay! They were outstanding hosts providing a fun and safe place for him to play. They adhered to his schedule and needs, went on multiple walks and gave him loads of attention! They stayed connected with updates and photos while we were away-which we really appreciated! The quality of care they gave our dog was above and beyond! The time they put in with him was a gift to us, knowing he was in such amazing care. We are so thrilled to have found them and would recommend them over and over again!!

They are fantastic! First time leaving my pup overnight with someone, and he really had a wonderful time. They were super communicative and so lovely- lucky to have found them!

Let me know what your dog likes and dislikes and I’ll change my daily activities to fit your dogs needs. My only requirement is they are good with kids. Our 2 and 4 year old kids love dogs and are generally very gentle, but they’re still learning.
A typical day
We love playing fetch in the backyard and going for walks to the nearby park or school. If your dog is able to be off leash we like to play fetch at the school so they get a nice big field to run in.

Availability
I currently only work when my husband is home from work so aside from short errands and taking my son to preschool, we always have someone home. Being home with toddlers makes caring for a pet fit into our daily routine easily.
