Pet care experience
I have done drop in visits for my family and friends’ dogs. I treat them as if they’re were my dog. Making sure they have everything they need including belly scratches or whatever your dog loves! I also have my own dog (Australian cattle mix) as well so I understand how hard it is to trust others with your baby. It’s still a struggle for us too. But, I’ll check in and send pictures/videos or whatever you’d like to put you at ease.

Michelle is caring and attentive pet caregiver! Michelle has taken care of my two dogs (Chihuahua/Pomeranian and Shih Tzu) a number of times. Michelle takes her time to ask questions regarding the dogs diets, any medications, walking/playing needs, and any changes to know about since the last visit. Both my dogs love Michelle and I trust her fully to care for both my fur kids!

My dog has a set schedule in our own home. From scheduled meals, pee/poops, walks, sniffing sessions, and snacks. We know that dogs love structure and want ways to decompress. I have a long leash that also allows them to run around a bit or do some sniffing sessions. With your permission of using treats (pending any allergies or if you have treats of your own that I can use), I like to have them play a game where they find it in the grass. It’s said that 15 min of sniffing is an hour of physical exercise for them. I do a mix of sniffing, playing ball, and walks. I can also customize to whatever your dog also loves to do.

A typical day
Because I have a high energy dog, I know dogs need both physical and mental exercise. Whether it’s walking for a certain amount of time, playing ball, or sniffing for treats in the grass. We can walk neighborhoods or a big park. We can also work on socializing and just sit at a bench and get a treat every time they make eye contact. It really depends on your dogs needs!
