My name is Michelle and I am an energetic, experienced and compassionate dog, cat and companion animal sitter located in Los Angeles, California! A little about me, I've been pet sitting since I could walk but professionally about 10 years. I am also an animal rights activist here in LA! I am respectful, professional and always go above and beyond expectations! I have experience fostering/rescuing animals with ASPCA and many references. I feel comfortable giving medications, and even insulin shots if your pet has diabetes. I truly care about the well-being of each animal I look after and their unique needs. I believe once you meet me, you'll see that I am the perfect fit in trusting me with your companion animals and home. I have been around and walked just about every breed of dog. If your dog likes adventures I love to be active and have a couple of amazing hikes we can do! I bunny sit often, and Im totally obsessed with kitties and think I’m a cat whisperer. I’m college educated and have a bachelors degree in communications and minor in business and biology from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I have an awareness and intuition when it comes to knowing what animals are feeling and what they want. I regularly volunteer at Animal Sanctuary’s, so I have a lot of experience with farm animals as well! Donkeys, Cows and Chickens are some of my favorite animals although I love them all. I took a little break from Rover for a few years so that’s why I don’t have more reviews but I’m back! I was so happy to have Michelle look after my two kitties for a long weekend. She communicated with me every day, including videos and pictures. She even brought them a little treat, which they gobbled up. She made sure to ask ahead of time if treats were ok. Needless to say, I came home to two very happy and healthy kitties. I would not hesitate to book her again.
Michelle was absolutely great looking after our Murphy! We got plenty of pictures and videos while we were gone, and Michelle was very communicative throughout the visit. The house was cleaned up and put together when we arrived back, such a welcome treat, and it was obvious Murph was well looked after while we were gone. Thank you again Michelle!
Michelle is an excellent house sitter. My pup was very happy with her and my house was spotless when I returned. Highly recommend!
Michelle was amazing with our little Miles! She sent such great updates every day which made me feel very at ease being away for 6 nights. And our house was so clean when we got home! I will definitely be booking again

It’s important to me to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible by always sticking to their normal routines. I always give lots of reassurance, and provide comfort. Please be reassured that with housesitting that I do not bring friends over or throw parties. I do not smoke cigarette or marijuana (but no judgements if you do). I am extremely respectful and follow all rules or boundaries clients may set. I’m always on time and will send lots of updates, pictures and I am extremely responsive via phone call, text and email. I’m truly at your service and you can feel 100% confident I will do the right thing. If boarding your dog it’s the same scenario! But please message me if you have further questions!

One thing that I would like to be transparent about up front, and I am not trying to sound rude at all! But if you would like me to stay in your home and pet sit I won’t be comfortable if it’s extremely dirty. For example, old food left on the counters, old dog pee left on floors, if the couches smell bad due to past animal feces/urine or if the bathroom area hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. If so, I may not be the best fit for your home as I do like to be clean and keep your place clean as well. Normal dog hair, dust or things like they are fine I’ve just been in some situations that are extremely uncomfortable due to cleanliness. So if we do a meet in greet I may not be able to accept the request, and I don’t want to waste anyone’s time!! I apologize for the inconvenience! Part of my service includes thoroughly cleaning upon exiting. I will vacuum, scrub sinks & bathroom shower, clean kitchen and wash & fold my used towels if you have a washer. I want you to come home to a super clean house and not have to worry!
A typical day
It always depends on what the owners instructions are and what they ask of me. But of course mealtime, playtime, walks, hikes, swimming if possible, but always lots of pets, hang outs. I uploaded some pictures of my yard that’s fenced in. In the summer I put out a little shallow swimming pool for the pups.

Availability
During the week I might go and run a few errands here and there but I will mostly be home with your companion animal. If I’m sitting for your dog and he/she is allowed to come with I have a dog/pet area set up in the back of my Subaru and they can come with me to get lunch and do errands that’s always fun. If Im boarding your pet in my home I have a large yard that’s 100% fenced in that we can hang out. I do have 2 cats inside the home so dogs must be ok with cats! My cats are friendly but don’t like to be chased unless it’s playful.
