Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life. I love dogs, cats, any animal. I know what it's like to put your loved one in the care of someone else only to find that they were not cared for the way you would care for them. I will respect your wishes and care for your pet as if it were my own. If your pet stays with me, they have 22 fenced acres to run and play. They have someone who will be around for the duration of their stay, so they have a warm and welcoming vacation of their own. All my animals live together. They eat, sleep, play together. Our cats are dog friendly. They do not run from them so new dogs don't get excited by the run and chase instinct. Ducks and chickens are kept away from other animals to keep accidents minimal. I worked for a veterinarian for a time, so I'm familiar with the giving of shots, special diets, and the individual needs of each animal in my care.

In the past, we had to return from vacations early because Mattie did not respond well to being kenneled. So we were looking for a positive alternative to traditional kennels and that is the reason we turned to Rover. We felt that leaving Mattie at Michelle's place was like booking our dog at a Doggy Dude Ranch. Michelle was absolutely the greatest. We think Mattie had a great time with the loving Lilly and the.goofy Dexter. There were horses, cats, chickens and ducks. I would highly recommend O'Michelle's Farm Ee-i-ee-i-oh!
Michelle worked as an employee on our horse farm for several years. We felt she was a VERY trustworthy care giver to not only our horses, but also to the dogs, cats, chickens, and sheep on our farm. She often was the sole care taker when we were away to a horse show, but we never doubted that our animals were not given the best of attention and care. She went beyond the normal chore routines in times when an animal was sick or in trouble. We would highly recommend Michelle as someone knowledgeable and trustworthy with animals.
